Southwell Baptist Church
Painting with a Limited Palette
4 weeks - 18th/19th July to 8th/9th August - £60
Learn about colour through a limited palette. A colour matching experiment exploring the variety of colours that can be mixed with the 3 primaries plus brown and white
4 weeks - 5th/6th September to 26th/27th September- £60
Painting realistic wrinkles on the older face. Using these reference photos or any face of your choosing
Traditional glazing techniques as used by the Old Masters
5 weeks - 31st October/1st November to 28th/29th November - £75
Working on a number of small, simple pieces to practice the old technique of glazing. A good way to learn about colour whilst achieving the glow that comes from many layers of transparent paint - truly magical!
Small group tuition
Aimed at those who want more indivually taliored lessons than the weekly art class for groups of 2-4. Date and time to be mutally agreed.
Price depends on number attending:
£15 per hour each 2 attendees; £10 per hour each 3 or more attendees
Tailored to your requirements, £20 per hour, milage 40p/mile if at your home, extra for materials.
2 hour demonstration - £120 plus mileage at 40p/mile
I'm currently very excited about oils so am happy to demonstrate in this medium. I use a turps substitute so there is no strong smell to upset those who are sensitive to the real thing.
I also create mixed media pieces using Pebeo paints - ask me for more details if this of interest
Week days £200; Saturdays £225
Travel 40p/mile if applicable
